Open House

A key aspect of the Committee’s work involved hosting public open houses to hear from stakeholders and the public. This series of open houses is now complete.

The purpose of the open houses was to:

  • Share information about the mandate of the Committee
  • Share information from technical presentations received by the Committee on hydrological issues, wildlife, fisheries and agriculture
  • Provide an opportunity to meet face-to-face with the Committee
  • Receive input and feedback on recommended lake level regulation, land use policies and zoning

The drop-in style open houses were an open format, with  members of the public able to come and go at any point during the open house hours in order to view materials about the work of the Committee, speak with Committee members in person and record your feedback.  To view materials from the open houses, visit our online open house page.
